Bouncer was previously published as "Lock In – Study & Move" — same app, same developer, renamed.
Bouncer ("the app," "we," "us") is built to be private by design. This policy explains what the app does and does not do with your information. The short version: Bouncer has no accounts, no ads, and no tracking, and your study activity and app selections stay on your device.
We don't collect, sell, or share personal information. Bouncer is free to use, with an optional paid tier (Bouncer Pro). The only data that leaves your device is purchase state plus an anonymous identifier used by our purchases framework — neither is tied to your identity.
Bouncer is free to use, and offers an optional paid tier — Bouncer Pro (an auto-renewing annual subscription with a 3-day free trial, or a one-time lifetime purchase) that removes the daily unlock limit. All payment is handled by Apple through your Apple Account: we never see or receive your payment details. Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the period, and can be managed or canceled any time in your Apple Account settings.
The app uses the RevenueCat purchases framework to keep your purchase in sync. RevenueCat receives your purchase history for this app and a randomly generated, anonymous app user identifier. Neither is linked to your name, email, or Apple ID, and neither is used for advertising or tracking; see the RevenueCat Privacy Policy and Apple's Privacy Policy for their practices.
Bouncer is rated 4+ and is safe for a general audience. Because the app does not collect personal information from anyone, it does not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Because we don't collect personal information, there is generally nothing for us to access, correct, or delete on your behalf. Your on-device data is protected by iOS's standard app sandboxing and device security. Any data transmitted to Apple or RevenueCat is sent over encrypted connections.
If Bouncer adds features that change how information is handled (for example, an optional AI question service), we will update this policy and its effective date before that feature is enabled.
